History: bound from La Rochelle and St Martin to Copenhagen or Hamburg, laden with syrup, ginger, sumac, skins for making buff, indigo, sugar and brandy; taken on about 23 April 1672 off Falmouth by HMS Newcastle (Anthony Langston commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
