Description

Prisoner name: John Kelly.

Court and date of trial: Middlesex Sessions, February 1833.

Crime: Assault with an unnatural intent on Joseph Rosemere in parish of St James, Clerkenwell.

Initial sentence: 18 months imprisonment.

Annotated (Outcome): Remission prepared, 30 January 1834.

Petitioner(s): The prisoner.

Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Ill health (kidney disease).

Other papers: Surgeon's certificate from Henry Wakefield, surgeon, Middlesex House of Correction, confirming the prisoner's ill health.
