Prisoner name: Martin Mason.
Prisoner age: 78.
Court and date of trial: Surrey Winter Assizes, Kingston upon Thames, December 1832.
Crime: Maliciously cutting with intent to maim.
Initial sentence: Insane at the time of committing the offence.
Annotated (Outcome): Warrant prepared for removal to lunatic asylum at Peckham, 14 March 1833. Order of maintenance prepared, 18 March 1833.
Other papers: List of criminal lunatics in gaol at Horsemonger Lane, Surrey, with letter from J Walter, keeper, stating that prisoner is 'very old and infirm' and will require extra maintenance payment.
Order of settlement of prisoner in All Hallows, Bread Street, City of London.
