Crime: Non-payment of penalty of £50 imposed upon him for illegally causing to be represented an unlicensed drama at the Royal Clarence Theatre, Teignmouth, a burlesque entitled Hypocrisy Unmasked or Teignmouth in an Uproar on 11 October 1832.
Initial sentence: Six months imprisonment.
