Prisoner name: Charles Thorley.

Prisoner age: 21.

Court and date of trial: Stafford Lent Assizes, March 1831.

Crime: Highway robbery.

Initial sentence: Death, commuted to transportation for life.

Petitioner(s): The Reverend Robert Porter, Rector of Draycott, Creswell, Staffordshire, undersigned by 10 inhabitants of Draycott and Thomas Plant, the prosecutor.
