Folio 287: Commissioner Sir Richard Beach, Portsmouth. He is glad the Board has written to Sir Ralph Delavell regarding the tenders. Is sending a contract with Samuel Eldridge, Master of the Anne ketch of North Yarmouth, who served Lord Torrington, at the terms he agreed with Captain Allen. He has ordered a Pilot to bring in the Nothumberland so her men can be used on the Essex. He will pay the turned over men on the Coronation when Sir Ralph Delavell is ready. The pay for the Advice's men should not be paid until she is fitted. He has told Mr. Winter no decision has yet been made. The storeship has arrived. He recommends the Board secure as much resin as they can. Captain Willshaw's goods have come with the storeship.
