Folio 269: Commissioner Sir Richard Beach, Portsmouth. He understands the Board does not want to make a decision about Mr. Winter's timber before talking to Mr. Waffle, but they are in great need of timber. He will pay off the debts as best he can but the money sent will not be enough for everyone. Report on the progress with the Cadiz Merchant. They will launch the Monmouth and hope to bring in the Exeter. The transporter and other ships under convoy with the Woolwich cannot sail at present due to lack of wind. The Richmond will sail today.
