Folio 257: Commissioner Sir Richard Beach, Portsmouth. Captain Shelley has accepted his commission in the Edgar. He recommends Mr. Cappell , Boatswain of the Royal James, as Master Attendant at Sheerness. They are planning to launch the Kent and Owner's Love, dock the Monmouth and careen the Exeter. Asks for Captain Wilshaw to be sent down to relieve him.
