Asks for directions concerning the Hampton Court, following the Master Shipwright's survey. Asks for the Board to send orders to the Purser of the Hampton Court to clear the ship of stores. Commanders of ships have hired vessels for pressing men without consulting him and he therefore has no details of these. He has informed Sir Ralph Delavell of the situation. Some of the barrels of brimstone from Mr. Fownes were damaged. Asks for leave to go to London and for two warrants, as he has heard of two places where Navy stores are hidden. Is sending copies of contracts with Mr. Clemence and Mr. Day. He has no knowledge of when Captain Wilshaw will be down.
