6796. Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 15. Warrant to pay the extra staff of the Battalion of British Grenadiers mentioned in the annexed accounts, with the sums against each of their names set down and amounting to £82 17s 4d sterling. Being 129 days pay for the Chaplain, from 25 August to 31 December 1782, and 92 days pay for the adjutant and quartermaster from 1 October to 31 December 1782.
