6793. Thomas Townshend to the Secretary at War [Sir George Yonge]. Whitehall. The King's American Regiment of Foot, commanded by Colonel Edmund Fanning should be placed on the British Establishment agreeable to the numbers mentioned in the enclosed letter. He is to signify that the Secretary should take the necessary steps for this to happen.
