6289. Notes. In obedience to orders from His Excellency, the memorials of the widows of the officers specified in the North American Corps have been examined and a full enquiry into their present circumstances and situation has been made. The necessary allowances have been settled on them, all of which have been submitted. On the reverse of the document, a list of widows and children of the Provincial officers who have died in His Majesty's service. Two names listed. The document is written in pencil and there are no names or signatures.
