6284. Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 95. Warrant to pay Captain J. B. Roberts, paymaster to the 63rd Regiment of Foot, the sum of £142 6s 8d sterling. Being subsistence for the Grenadier Company and a detachment of the Light Infantry of the regiment, both days included as per the annexed account. From which £55 3s 1d. and half penny sterling is to be detained for 5,295 rations of provisions issued, also £3 17s 8d sterling for stoppages to the hospital at New York.
