6275. Captain Samuel Ryers. Notes for making out a warrant to Ryers of the 3rd Battalion, New Jersey Volunteers for the sum of £59 12s 11d sterling. Being to reimburse him and sundry other officers of the Provincial Detachment who served under the command of the late Major Patrick Ferguson of the 71st Regiment in Carolina in 1780. That the sum which was stopped from them by Adam Gordon Esquire, then Acting-Paymaster of Provincials at Charleston, on settlement of account. Noted on the reverse, to take out a warrant.
