6137. Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 80. Warrant to pay Captain Frederick Cornwallis, paymaster to a detachment of His Majesty's 33rd Regiment of Foot, the sum of £180 15s 8d sterling. Being subsistence for the Grenadier Company of the said regiment from 25 October to 24 December 1782, both days included as per the annexed account. From which the sum of £59 17s 8d for rations of provision issued, and £1 13s 4d for stoppages to the hospital at New York are to be detained.
