6122. Carleton to William Deane Poyntz, Paymaster-General. New York. Number 26. Warrant to pay Mr James Boyd, paymaster to the seconded officers of Provincial Forces the sum of £1465 10s 6d sterling. Being pay for the said officers from 25 August to 24 October 1782, both days included, as per the annexed account. From which the sum of £30 5s 11d sterling is to be detained for stoppage, and also £62 13s 4d sterling for 6,016 rations of provisions from 24 June to 24 August 1782, both days included.
