To: George Watson, 125 Field Street, Liverpool [Lancashire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter of the 28 September 1850 inquiring as to the names of the various tenants occupying the property who claim to vote at the election of the Ormskirk Local Board [Lancashire], and who should have been given in the claim. It is advised that all the tenants should have been enumerated, in accordance with the latter portion of section 20 of the Public Health Act, which requires that the claimant to vote shall deliver to the chairman conducting the election, a statement in writing of his name and address of the amount of all rent service, if any, which he may receive as pay in respect of this, and of the persons from whom he may receive or to whom he may pay the same.
