To: Thomas Kershaw, Church Street, Ormskirk [Lancashire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter undated, with reference to the memorial adopted at a public meeting held in the town of Ormskirk, praying that no further proceedings may be taken in furtherance of the application of the Public Health Act 1848, which Kershaw states does not represent the public feeling of the town. It is advised that this communication will have the fullest consideration of the Board.
