To: The Home Secretary.
From: Arnold Taylor, Superintending Inspector, The Local Government Act Office.
Subject Matter: Report on an application from the Local Board for the District of Mossley [Cheshire/Lancashire/Yorkshire] for sanction to borrow £2100, under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1858, for works of sewerage and permanent street improvement. Taylor recommends that sanction be given to the Local Board to borrow the sum of £2100, on the security of the General District Rate, as requested.
