To: William Dunn, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Lancaster [Lancashire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 30 August 1852, transmitting the resolution of the Lancaster Local Board of Health, with reference to the condition upon which the consent of the General Board is given to the loan of £12,000 [for the proposed water works for the District of Lancaster]. The consent of the General Board is said to be enclosed herewith, in accordance with the terms of their letter of the 14 August 1852.
