Folio 371.
To: William Dunn, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Lancaster [Lancashire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter transmitting a copy of a report by Henry Austin respecting the plans and estimates for the proposed works for the water supply of Lancaster. Dunn is advised that the Board have approved and adopted the conclusions of that report. He is further advised that on receiving a letter signifying the acquiescence of the Lancaster Local Board in the condition included in the report, the Board will immediately send their sanction under seal for the mortgage of the General District Rates to the extent of £12,000, for the purpose of enabling the Local Board to carry out the proposed works of water supply.
