Folio 610.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: Robert Rawlinson, Superintending Inspector, The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Letter advising, with respect to the estimates etc., for the drainage of Hitchin [Hertfordshire], he is waiting for the plans from the Ordnance Department, without which such estimates cannot be furnished. Rawlinson explains that he will write to the Ordnance authorities to hasten the completion of the plans, but warns that it is scarcely possible now to prepare estimates and specifications before the 25 March unless these plans can be produced at once. He adds that the delay has not rested with him.
