To: The General Board of Health.
From: William Stevens Jnr, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Hitchin [Hertfordshire].
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a printed circular of the 9 October 1850, enclosing three copies of 'minutes of instructions for the use of Local Boards of Health with reference to the powers and duties of such Boards and of their Officers'. Stevens requests nine further copies of the same, in order that each member of the Hitchin Local Board may have one.
