Description

Folios 581-582.

To: The General Board of Health.

From: William Stevens Jnr, Clerk (pro tem) to the Local Board of Health, Hitchin [Hertfordshire].

Subject Matter: Letter enclosing a copy of a letter received by Mr William Thomas Heard, Surveyor of Hitchin, from Captain A Bentley of the Ordnance Map Office, Southampton [Hampshire], advising him that no communication has yet been received from the General Board by Lieutenant Colonel Hall with reference to the survey of Hitchin. Stevens requests that the General Board communicates with Lieutenant Colonel Hall with reference to the proposed survey, with as little delay as possible.
