From: J Wood, Office of Ordnance.
Subject Matter: Letter advising that the General Board of Health's letter of the 25 August has been submitted to the Master General and Board of Ordnance. It is explained that they have authorised the survey of the Township of Hitchin [Hertfordshire] on the understanding that the whole expense is repaid to the Ordnance Department within the financial year.
