Folio 560.

To: William Stevens Jnr, Clerk (pro tem) to the Local Board of Health, Hitchin [Hertfordshire].

From: The General Board of Health.

Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 16 July 1850, with reference to the subject of the surveys under the Public Health Act 1848. Stevens is advised that full particulars on the subject are now in the hands of the printer, and that they will be transmitted as soon as they are ready.
