Folio 549.
To: William Stevens Jnr, Clerk (pro tem) to the Local Board of Health, Hitchin [Hertfordshire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 14 May 1850, requesting information with reference to a map of the Town of Hitchin for the purpose of drainage. Stevens is advised that the General Board are still in communication with the Board of Ordnance on the subject, but they hope to be able to forward the necessary instructions in a few days.
