1) 'Photograph, group of the officersand crew of HMS 'Galatea', Prince Alfred in centre, the officer to his right having both hands folded on hilt of sword. Elephant on left of picture with his trunk reaching to the ground'.
2) 'Photograph, group of the officersand crew of HMS 'Galatea', Prince Alfred in centre of group, officer to his right standing with left hand on hilt of sword, right arm hanging down. Elephant on left of picture with trunk colied up to his mouth'.
