3393. John Robinson to General Sir Henry Clinton. A letter from the Whitehall Treasury Chambers regarding a number of letters sent by Mr Wier about the state of provisions sent for the troops contracted for, and the ample supply for servicing them. Despite a number of them returned unconsumed from the army under Lord Cornwallis, they were meeting an increased demand, which was causing concern, and a review should be taken into this situation.
