A letter of memorial from New York by the Purveyor and Chief Surgeon of His Majesty's Hospitals regarding the proposed cutting of duties which would deprive wounded officers and men of experienced attention. Experienced junior ranks being promoted before him, and loss of pay causing hardship for him and family within an expensive garrison.
