3345. Mary Van Gorden to General Sir Henry Clinton at New York. A letter of petition from a widow (with two children) of a soldier of the 2nd Batallion (Morris's) New Jersey Volunteers who died in action, for provisions. Was sent by the rebel Committee at Katskill to 'this garrison'. Referred to Colonel Morris 27 February, ordered by Lieutenant-General Robertson for the months of March and April.
