The 'Get In Go Far' apprenticeships campaign was launched on 20 August 2014 by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The campaign called on young people to choose an apprenticeship and this coincided with the introduction of 40 new employer-designed apprenticeships in sectors including engineering, hospitality and the legal profession. These new opportunities gave people the chance to earn whilst they learn on apprenticeships which had been designed by businesses in a variety of sectors.
