This series consists of a nominal index relating to subjects who did not fit into any of the main SOE indexes. It lists: SOE personnel or contacts in various countries (mainly in the Balkans, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland, but could be almost anywhere), and German personnel and known or suspected collaborators in those countries; First Aid Nursing Yeomanries (FANYs) attached to SOE with details of postings, giving contact addresses and phone numbers; and, on cards endorsed 'POW Cards' details of contacts in occupied countries known or believed to be in enemy hands. There are also some subject cards (for example, a number headed 'Safe Houses in Portugal') the details of which of course vary according to the topic. One or two of the personal cards have photographs of the subjects attached.
