Folio 382: Commissioner Richard Beach, Portsmouth. He has given orders for the work to continue on the barge being built for Vice Admiral Killigrew. The Court Martial has cleared the Captain of the St. David and laid the fault with the Lieutenant, Master and Carpenter. The Purser cannot find any vinegar and if he could, they have no money to pay for it, as merchants will only accept ready money. The Jersey and Richard and John fireship will sail for the Downs soon, so asks for vinegar to be sent from London. He has agreed with men from the Plymouth to help clear the Bredah. Asks for money, oakum and junk to be sent. The Unity is to be made into a hoy and asks if the Boatswain should be discharged.
