Description

Folio 376: Commissioner Richard Beach, Portsmouth. Sir Richard Haddock will report to the Board regarding the affairs of the yard. Henry Staniford, Master Carpenter, is very sickly and rarely attends the yard, the Foreman is incapable of taking charge, so the Master Shipwright and his Assistant are having to do the work. The Kingfisher He has been graved but there are no Officers to take control of her, as they seem to do as they please with no thought to their duty.
