Folio 350: Commissioner Richard Beach, Portsmouth. Lord Torrington countermanded the orders to sheath the Monk and she is to be fitted for a cruising voyage with Sir Cloudesley Shovell. Mr. Brouncker He has not delivered the lead scuppers. Lord Torrington and Admiral Russell have ordered many ships to be tallowed, and cannot wait for the delivery of tallow from London but must buy it locally. Asks for the replacement Master Attendant and Master Shipwright to be hastened down, and someone to replace Edward Dummer.
