Description

Folio 145: Charles Flight. He has been at sea for 17 years, served as a Master of a merchant ship for 2 years and since as an Able Seaman, Midshipman and Mate in the Service for 20 months. He wishes to serve as a Master in the Navy and asks for a letter to Trinity House to be examined.
