Folio 141: Daniel Furzer, Naval Officer, Kinsale. The timber for the Shark's rother was sawn and sent down on Tuesday 6th with the iron to make the rother irons and bolt. He set the Shipwrights and Smith to work the next day and hired a lighter to take out some of her iron ballast ready to bring her ashore. Yesterday, when her bottom was examined no other damage was found. He intended to go to Kinsale today, but the frost made the roads unsafe and he will now go tomorrow and send the musters of the Superb and Sapphire by post.
