Folio 125: Mr. Porter, Purser. He has had leave to pass his accounts for the Lyon, but on Sir Anthony Dean's instructions went to the Victualler, Mr. Parsons, for him to peruse his papers who not only bid him to put them to an unclean use but also charged him with cutting the pork less than it was for which he has procured an affidavit. He encloses certificates and affidavits (not now attached) from the Captain, Steward and Cooper and hopes he can close his accounts. !!
