Description

2812. Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Discusses the enclosed plan of issuing a Regiment of Dragoons, which had been communicated to Germain through Brigadier Ruggles. Includes the enclosures relating to proposals for raising a regiment of Light Dragoons in North America to be called The King's American Dragoons. Listing officers and men it will be composed of, and instructions of how it will be developed.
