Description

2810. Germain to Clinton. Whitehall. Since writing a letter on 14 February in favour of Captain Lyman, Sir William Erskine has assured him that Lyman's conduct had met with his entire approbation. Therefore upon such respectable testimony, he cannot help repeating his wish that Clinton would take as early an opportunity as is convenient to comply with Lyman's request.
