Folio 167: Commissioner Henry Greenhill, Plymouth. He has asked Captain Martin why three men left him. The Woolwich is going to the Canaries and put 25 Seamen's wives aboard the Weymouth, which is now ordered out with a convoy so Captain Juniper put them ashore. They are destitute so he has given five of the most substantial women five pounds to distribute among the rest to get home, the cost to be deducted from the husbands' wages. These five are the wives of Anthony Taylor, Cook, and Quartermasters George Read, Richard Lorgin, James Commons and Thomas Cock. The Dover prize is damaged. List of 8 ships in port.
