Folio 197: Ambrose Crowley. Protection was granted for the Mary and Sarah, William Rogers, Master, and 7 men for one voyage. William Rogers has arrived with a freight of ironware and his protection has expired. He is under contract to lie at Newcastle. Asks for protection for him and 7 men for 6 months. The other protections granted will expire in 2 or 3 months and these will not require more to bring the ironware and grindstone under the contract.
