Court and date of trial: Lancaster Quarter Sessions Preston October 1833.
Crime: Stealing 3 cows.
Initial sentence: Transportation for life.
Gaoler's report: The family of the man represented him as having been 'spoiled' by his father who died about three years ago. The convict was addicted to intoxication and under its influence stole the cows having had many disputes with the family as to his claims upon some property in their possession. His connexions are farmers of some little respectability. On board Justitia.
Annotated (Outcome): Free Pardon prepared 10 March 1838.
