1372. Annexed letter from Cambridge. Memorial, end wanting. Summoned commanding officers of Brunswick troops and thanks are given with four particulars for consideration on troops passing through in 1776 getting a blanket and cap which were gratefully received; for the severe cold in Canada, each man was to be given a long blanket coat, pair of long breeches, cap covering shoulders and a pair of gloves for men sleeping on bare boards or bad straw, would like to get a mattress stuffed with straw; a return of necessities which Mister Clarke could procure from New York.
