Description

1356. Reverend Edward Brudenell to Lieutenant-Colonel John Lind. A letter from Cambridge stating that any letter delivered by his servant who waited to see if there was any reply, then left after nothing was forthcoming, giving the conclusion that one wasn't going to be given, so now put it to Major-General Phillips. He accepts to being at fault for not being in contact, and with the regiment moving, but not out of any disrespect, and certainly expected some form of censure, but not with this severity.
