Description

1330. Lieutenant-Colonels John Campbell and James Bruce and Major James Henry Craig to Major-General Eyre Massey. A letter from a camp near Halifax regarding a request for allowances be provided in lieu of expenditure made on camp equipment and other necessities and forage, just as had been provided for other regiments.

Note. At foot of letter an order from Major-General Massey to Deputy Quartermaster-General for 100 days allowance to be given to three Corps just landed - dated 12 Sep. Enclosure by Lieutenant-Colonels Campbell and Bruce to General Sir Henry Clinton - 21 Sep.
