Five cuttings, notes on the work of William Stroudley, London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Locomotive, Carriage and Marine Superintendent 1870 to 1889:
1) From unnamed journal, February 1941, short article, 'Crescent-shaped Balance Weights', also about cast steel wheels.

3) From 'The Railway Magazine' December 1940, notes on whereabouts and condition of surviving Stroudley locomotives, and further note on balance weights.
