Five cuttings, notes on the work of William Stroudley, London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Locomotive, Carriage and Marine Superintendent 1870 to 1889:
1) From unnamed journal, February 1941, short article, 'Crescent-shaped Balance Weights', also about cast steel wheels.
2) Further copy of 1.
3) From 'The Railway Magazine' December 1940, notes on whereabouts and condition of surviving Stroudley locomotives, and further note on balance weights.
4) Two cuttings from 'The Railway Magazine' May 1941 pages 233 to 234, summary of discussion about William Stroudley's apparent complacency concerning his locomotive designs.
