Folio 167: William Fendall, Deal. As he was unwell he sent his son, Robert Blaze, to Margate to enquire after the Pendennis. Roger Jewell went out with his hoy but could not retrieve anything. He has asked the herring men but they have seen nothing of the wreckage. Mr. Safery, Pilot believes the wreckage will end up on the Essex side around Whitsatble.
