Folio 131: William Fendall, Deal. The Transporter sailed yesterday and one more load will take away all the material. Mr. Bowles has offered to buy all the material which remains. Mr. Lee thinks they should try to save the plank, but Captain Cook always allowed the country people to have the hull of a wreck. He will not have enough money to pay for those anchors taken up at Margate. The Bristol's anchor has been found, asks how much money he should pay for it. He is going to search for some plank that he has been told of, he has never been amongst so many thieves as at St. Margarets, and the Mordaunt's men are as bad.
